Christmas: A Glimpse of Summer

Christmas in the Philippines has the longest celebration in the world! Starting from September to January, your eyes can feast on bright and colorful decorations. Baguio City keeps up by showing off major destinations fit for the seasons such as the Christmas Village at BCC, sound and light display at Malcolm Square, Lantern Parade at Session Road, and the grand fireworks display. There are too many reds and greens to immerse with. Monol wanted to switch it up a bit.

Hot & Colorful Christmas

Monol came up with the theme of Havana for the season, tagging it as ‘A Glimpse of Summer in December’. Along with this came a program for employees to bond and celebrate the yuletide season. A pre-Christmas party contest was held, which was to create an interpretation of the theme in a form of Santa’s sleigh. In a battle of creativity and resourcefulness, the results came out the same: everyone united to make a merrier, summery Christmas.

The Christmas party took place on December 14, 2018, at Hardin Resto Café in Leonard Wood, Teacher’s Camp. With the attendees donning the said attire, it’s quite surreal to see the venue’s rustic ambiance transformed into a piece of tropical place in the likes of Cuba or Hawaii.

Night of the Loyal Employees

The highlight of the event was the recognition of the employees who have given a long-standing service to the company. It was in time to distinguish the 5 years or 10 (and more) of loyalty, proving that Monol serves more than as an office. Also, talents have been showcased on the second edition of Monol Got Talent. Following the same groups from the decoration contest, the representatives danced and sing in the spirit of fun. Cheers and laughter came all the way through the whole performances.

Big Bang Yearender

The end of the program led to announcing the winners of the raffle draws and contests.
